Giles' training for the theatre started at college and then took a very hands-on approach working in the West End on numerous productions including Grease, Barnum, Grand Hotel, 'Allo 'Allo, four Royal Variety Performances and three Olivier Awards.
Directing credits include Barnum (in the Big Top), Little Shop of Horrors (Epsom Playhouse), The West End Story (touring) and The Haunted House (touring).
Acting credits include Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night (Polesden Lacey Open Air Theatre Company), Phillipe in Heroes (TheAtre), the character Giles in Upstaged (Phoenix Theatre, Bordon), Jerome K Jerome in Three Men in a Boat, Herbert Pinnegar in Old Herbaceous, Bill in Fagin?, Falstaff in Much Ado About Falstaff, The Man in My Dog's Got No Nose (all national touring productions for GSP & Kick In The Head) and Widow Twankey in Aladdin at The Stratford upon Avon Playhouse. During the coming festive season he can be found performing as Father Christmas on The Polar Express on The Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway.
He also runs his own production company, GSP, which tours up to 15 different shows all around the UK.
