Lou Fowkes

Spend an evening with the amazingly sultry voice of Lou Fowkes, as she takes you on a tour of some of the greatest female vocalists of all time.  

There will be classics from the likes of Billie Holiday, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Roberta Flack, Alison Moyet, Ruby Turner, Amy Winehouse, Barbra Streisand and Adele...plus a few surprises!  

Originally from Surrey but now based in Kent, Lou has worked in professional arts and entertainment for over 35 years and her work has taken her into London's West End and beyond.  Treading the boards in musical theatre, she has also sung in various R&B/Jazz/Blues Bands, worked as a guest vocalist and additionally as a backing vocalist for a number of well established artists over the years and was delighted to go into the studio and cut an album entitled 'Just Fine' in 2012.  

Lastly, Lou is in the process of launching a new five piece blues/rock band, entitled 'Stormy Sundays' which will start playing venues in and around the South East in the next few weeks.
